The manufacturing process involved in producing MDF Sample Boards
Our investment in high volume, high precision Computer Numerical Controlled machines is how we cut out your Product Sample Boards. This process ensures the highest level of accuracy, repeatability, and cost savings. We ensure the best in machinery, tooling and personnel and extend all of these efficiencies to our clients. We operate multiple machines and are capable of producing approximately 150~250 sample boards per hour per machine. We operate a two shift production. Once the sample boards are precision cut, we transfer the sample boards to our paint line.
Our sample boards, receive three coatings. The first coat is a white primer, this ensures consistency, knocks down any fibers and provides an even adhesion of the coat of paint. The second coat is the paint, either as standard black or white or another color choice as an option. We coat either single side or two sides, depending on order received and once painted the sample boards enter the UV curing oven. We then transfer these boards to our sanding operation where the machinery gently scuffs the paint to receive the third coat and final coat of paint. The sample boards are then removed from the oven gently stacked onto custom, heavy duty pine pallets, shrink wrapped and labeled ready for delivery to your facility. |
